What Are The Rules?
The rules are simple... don't get hit by the ball flying at you!
Okay... Just Kidding... We do have a whole list of rules for your safety and the safety of the others on the court! See them HERE!
Where Do We Play? (winter 2022)
This season we will be playing at the Lied Boys & Girls club in Salt Lake City.

The location address will be emailed to registered participants.
How Do I Join Stonewall Sports?
There are three ways you can participate in a Stonewall Sports season as an active player. You can:
Create and captain a team
Creating your own team and acting as the Captain gives you control over how you build your roster. You can recruit up to 14 players and will be given free agents to round your team out.
Joining as a free agent
Playing as a free agent is a great way to experience Stonewall, whether it's your first season or your 10th! Our leagues grow year after year, so it's almost guaranteed you'll meet groups of new and friendly people. You can also request to be partnered with a friend as a pair of 2 free agents so that you are placed on a team together.
Join an existing team as a player
Stonewall Kickball teams are coordinated first by the team captain. Before completing the registration process, please ensure that a captain knows you will be taking up a player spot on their team. This prevents any confusion for the team rosters.
Who Can Join Stonewall?
We are a 21+ LGBTQ+, and Allies, Sports League. We encourage anyone and everyone to join. Bring your friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances and have them join in on the fun! As long as you are over the 21+ by the date of the first game, we would love to have you!
Any type of Harassment is NOT Tolerated.
Please reach out if you have any questions, saltlakecity@stonewallsports.org

Where Does The Rest Of My Money Go?
This is a great question, and this year we are attempting to increase our transparency.
First, there are NO PAID persons / employees of Stonewall SLC. We are a 100% volunteer based organization, and each of our volunteers give their time because they want to be involved, they want to share and execute on their ideas, and they want to have fun!
We do pay the national Stonewall organization for Attorney & Accounting services. Those are two specialty, full-time services/positions Stonewall utilizes on a daily basis. The positions require more than just volunteer efforts. All other national leadership positions are volunteer.
We also pay:
-for team T-shirts. This is a substantial expense, but an essential part of who we are, and these form of "jerseys" are necessary to enable organized team play,
-for venues,
-for aspects social events (food & venues, where required by the particular event we are doing),
-for equipment,
-and for other, more minor miscellaneous expenses (awards, supplies, etc.)
If you have a question, don't hesitate to ask.
I Don't Want To Play But I Would Like To Join And Play... How Do I Do That?
We are always looking for more volunteers to help with events. Email us at saltlakecity@stonewallsports.org or slc.sports@stonewallsports.org and let us know you want to volunteer and we will reach back out with openings or ways to get involved.
We have volunteer opportunities of varying degrees, from volunteering for one-off events (such as picking up pizza for a pizza night), serving on a committee (1-5 hours a month), serving as a Director or Assistant Director of a sport (1 year term, 3-5 hours per WEEK while your sport is LIVE), to serving on our Board of Directors (2 year commitment of 8-15 hours per week, depending on position).
