Welcome to the Fall 2023 Stonewall SLC Bowling Season!

Dates/Times: This season, Stonewall Bowling Salt Lake will have one league, with games scheduled on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Our kickoff day will commence at 5:30 PM.

Facility: We're thrilled to announce our venue: The Union Bowling Alley, conveniently located at 200 S Central Campus Drive, SLC, UT 84112. Please note that due to the University of Utah's dry campus policy, alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.

League Description: The Stonewall Bowling Salt Lake league will consist of a maximum of 24 teams, each comprising 6 players. The league will run for 7 weeks, starting on October 11, 2023. Our primary focus is on having fun! If you're unfamiliar with some of the bowling terminology mentioned below, don't worry; our league leadership will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Each team will complete a full 10 frames, but only the top three scores from each team will be tallied to determine the team's score for the night. It's important to have at least 2 members of your team present at the start of the game; otherwise, the game will be forfeited. If a third player is absent, their score for the night will be recorded as zero when calculating the team's weekly total.

Please note that substitutions will not be allowed in place of an absent bowler.

In case a bowler is absent, their average for that night will be considered 10 pins lower than their actual average.

Registration Cost: The registration fee is $85 per player, which includes your Stonewall Bowling Salt Lake T-Shirt, required liability insurance, and league administrative fees.

Registration Information: Registration for the Fall 2023 season opens on September 5, 2023, for all bowlers and will close on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, or when we reach capacity.

Captains: If you plan to be the captain of a team, please register first, and then have your players register under your team name.

Players:

• Creating a Team: If you intend to create a team, you should register as a team captain (as explained above). Afterward, you can invite your friends to register as team players and join your team. To become an officially recognized new team, you must have at least 4 registered players.
  • Joining a Team: If you've already decided on the team you want to play with, please register as a team player.
  • Don't Have a Team? No problem! This league is all about making new friends. Register as a Free Agent, and we'll either place you on an existing open team or pair you with other Free Agents to create a new team.
